Parent Involvement

St Laurence’s Primary offers opportunities for parents to become involved in the school’s daily activities. Communication is most important in building a strong partnership between families and the school community. Parent participation is also encouraged as part of the Parents and Friends Association (P & F).

Class parents are nominated each year. Each class has one or two parent helpers who liaise with the class teacher to organise morning teas and any other tasks, as needed. The class parents welcome new families to our school and offer support to families who may be experiencing difficulties. This is a rewarding role within the school community.
