Prayer and Liturgy

St Laurence's Primary believes in fostering relationships between God and us through prayer and liturgy. Each class and grade follow routines that reflect our Catholic spirituality through prayer and liturgy, and we come together as a school to share that story with the parish community.

In our Catholic school community, everyone is encouraged to set aside time for personal prayer and to pray together with others, both formally and informally.

St Laurence’s Primary implemented a school wide program of Christian Meditation in 2018 to enhance the students’ experience of the sacraments and other forms of prayer. We meditate to calm the mind and to bring the mind into the heart.
