Our Garden Club provides students with the opportunity to grow and nurture vegetables and fruits. A whole school composting program provides the vegetable garden with soil to grow our produce.
Our school garden is a place where the children can learn about productive gardening, biodiversity and sustainability. It provides the perfect environment in which to engage in 'hands on' learning. The garden supports the health and wellness of our students, encouraging them to choose nutritious foods and also provides a connection for the students to their school.
Interested students have the opportunity to join the Garden Club. These students meet on a weekly basis during lunch in our school garden. Fresh produce grown in our garden is used in our school canteen, taken home by students and entered into the Dubbo Show.
